EMO Hannover 2019 logo and dates

We’ve written before about trade shows and exhibitions and how important we think they are and why we try to visit and exhibit at certain events around the world.

Every two years the NEC, Birmingham hosts MACH – every other March this International exhibition takes over several halls and our customers, competitors and suppliers all find it useful to attend. 2017 was the first year we exhibited oursleves, taking 3 working, demonstration grinding and honing machines with us too!

This September EMO will be held in Hannover, another bi-annual show, exhibitors from all over the world attend. EMO being one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the metalworking industry. We always try to attend in person, not to exhibit but to support our principle suppliers, Schneeberger, Palmary and others. We help on their stands, speak to customers, arrange to meet customers from the UK who attend, learn more about the machines being demonstrated but also spend time with our suppliers, reinforcing relationships across the globe.

The shows are always very tiring – sore feet, long days, and being away from home, sleeping in over-priced hotels, (rooms are in demand because of the show!), but we analyse the contacts made after these events and always come to the conclusion that they have been worthwhile.
