Our Mach Exhibition

We’re just back from a week at the NEC, Birmingham #theNEC exhibiting at the #Machexhibition – what a week!

Well, actually, we didn’t miss anything weather wise – the journeys from Derbyshire to the NEC each day were damp and dreary, just like the journeys home each evening, and the traffic was just as bad each day too – the M42 and all the interchanges between Tamworth and Marston Green are so busy these days that choice of lane makes no difference and you have to resign yourself to just sitting there !

Thankfully the journey was worth it. We would like to thank all our visitors and suppliers for their interest especially as some had travelled a long way to see us (some a very long way – Taiwan !) It was great to see so many familiar faces and meet so many new contacts. UK manufacturing is definitely not dead. The number of new companies, existing companies with new projects and the diversity of projects was amazing. Some visitors even bringing drawings with them so they could discuss our machines capabilities whilst on the stand.

We’re busy now making contact with people we met and matching up our machines to their requirements, collating information and quotations so, lots to do !
